Administrative Program:
If requested
by the client, our management team is
able to take total administrative control
of the project. At the onset of a project,
we develop a comprehensive procedures
manual, which then becomes the working
tool for managing major aspects of the
project.
Schedule Control:
Schedule control
may vary from a simple bar chart and
logic diagram to sophisticated computer-
aided program review and evaluation or
critical path methods. We set milestone
dates contractually at the time of bidding
and establish interface dates, which
forms the basis for monitoring work
progress.
Cost Control Effectiveness:
DCE has
an excellent record for cost estimating
accuracy. This task is accomplished
through close coordination of our cost
estimators, designers, and field staff.
Consultation During Design:
The
greatest opportunity to achieve overall
project cost-effectiveness occurs during
the design phase. We emphasize
constructability reviews through the design
process.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION:
Value Engineering. Value engineering specialists analyze the project during design for the purpose of challenging accepted practices and reducing project cost and time.
Bidding & Contracting Services. Services include bidder prequalification; bid document preparation, evaluation and award recommendation; and contract negotiation. We are experienced with both fast-track, multiple contracts, and conventional general contractor projects.
Resident Inspection Services. Experienced resident managers direct field inspection, contract administration, expediting, and scheduling.
Start-Up Testing Services. We offer occupancy phase services, which include systems and equipment checkout, initial start-up and testing assistance, and operation and maintenance manual preparation.
